**Allie's ENT just called and he has jury duty on the 12th and now her appointment is scheduled for the 5th.. Thanks to all the have offered to help, I will be calling on you**
OK so I chickened out last year and now it it that time again. What am I talking about, you ask. My little girl is getting her tonsils out. Last year at this same time I had a appointment for both kids to get their tonsils out and I canceled at the last minute. Well for the last 9 weeks we, except for maybe Brody, have gotten very little sleep. Allie has a had 2 cases of strep and her tonsils have grown so fast they are "kissing" as the doctors calls them. This also comes with a cold that has not gone away. Her ped doc thinks she has asthma, she does not have asthma. So I brought her to her ENT and he says he would recommend taking them out. Now the hard part. The next appointment is Dec 12th and the recovery is about 3 weeks. Soooo, Dec 12th we have her surgery, the 19th and 20th we go through the temple and then it is Christmas. The nurse is like are you sure you don't want to wait until after the holidays are over with. Next problem, our insurance is switching as of Jan 1st to a high deductible plan. What fun to have to pay for a tonsillectomy at the first of the year. So we opted to have her surgery on the 12th. Pray that it will go smoothly and we can enjoy of temple day and Christmas.
So has anyone's kids had to get there tonsils out? I would love to hear about it.
